Digicon Services is a consultancy and advisory single member company specializing in Business Development, Digital Transformation, Banking, Telecoms, IT Services. The company started its services in April 2021 based on a multiyear professional experience of Damianos Charalampidis.

Damianos Charalampidis has more than two decades solid track record in Business Management and Operations, out of which 10 years at a C-level position in all 3 mobile operators in Greece. He has also more than 8 years of experience as Group Chief Operating Officer of National Bank of Greece (NBG) and a Group Chief Digital Officer of Alpha Bank leading the Digital Transformation programs, Innovation and digital sales. He has extensive corporate governance experience being a member in Executive Committees for more than 15 years. Throughout his career Mr. Charalampidis served as a BoD member in various companies such as: Pancreta Bank, OTENET (ISP Provider), TELLAS S.A. (Fixed Line Operator), ZELITRON (IoT Internet of Things), CosmoONE (B2B e-Auction service provider).

He has also been Chairman of PAEGAE (NBG subsidiary in the field of 3PL logistics), Vice Chairman of Alpha Ventures (Venture Capital arm of Alpha Bank) and a member of the investment committee of PRODEA (former PANGAIA REIC). He is Charted Engineer (C.Eng) and a Fellow member of IET (Institute of Electrical and Technical Engineers) and he has served as a Chairman of its Greek section for several years.

He holds a B.Sc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from John Moores University in Liverpool as well as an M.Sc in Digital Electronics from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST).

He is married with one son and he is a marathon runner.
